Alessandro Bressanello (Venice, 1948) is an Italian actor, theatre director, and producer active across theatre, cinema, and international events. Founder of TAG Teatro di Venezia and Produzioni Teatrali Veneziane, he has directed plays and baroque operas performed in over 20 countries. He has appeared in more than 80 films, collaborating with internationally renowned directors. Among his most internationally recognized film works are Spectre, The Hand of God by Paolo Sorrentino, and Maria by Pablo Larraín. In parallel, he has played an important role in the artistic development of the Venice Carnival, where he served as artistic coordinator for several years.
